The stunning Silvia Saint was actually born Silvie Tomčalová in what we now know as the Czech Republic. She is a former pornographic actress whom became very famous and popular doing so. So much so that in 1996, she was Penthouse Pet of the Year in the Czech edition of the magazine and between the years 1997 and 2001, she appeared in well over 250 porno movies.

Tomčalová studied management for two years in Brno, and worked as a manager of a large hotel in the Czech city of Zlín, and in other companies as an accountant and marketing coordinator. Unfortunately these jobs were not of much use to her financially so she found herself trying some modeling. This turned out to be quite successful for Silvia at first doing lingerie modeling and then she moved onto doing some nude shots for different magazines. It was at this time while doing the nude pictures that her then boyfriend took her to a casting session for an American porn movie called “Lee Nover: Search for the Perfect Breasts” by Frank Thring which was filmed in Prague for Private Media.

"After some spreads in "Cheri", "Swank", "High Society" and "Club International" Silvia hit the jackpot in 1996, when she became a Penthouse "Pet" in the Czech version of "Penthouse" magazine. Then, two years later she was a "Pet" in the American issue of "Penthouse" which gave her a much broader audience. Saint's early films were shot in Europe, many for Private Media Group. Later, she moved to the United States where she spent over three years working in the porn industry.

Tomčalová appeared in a space-themed pornographic film for Private Media Group called ‘The Uranus Experiment’ which featured a short scene shot in a Russian aircraft very similar to NASA's Vomit Comet. ‘The Uranus Experiment’ features a 20 second scene of Silvia and Nick Lang’s astronaut character having penetrative sex in freefall. This particular sex scene was nominated for a Nebula Award, but did not come away with the prize. Most of Silvia’s work consists of anal sex and she is renowned for her performance of oral sex, lesbian themed movies as well as interracial scenes. In May 2000, Ms. Saint unfortunately declared that she was parting ways with the porn industry. She then moved back to Prague in the Czech Republic where she continued to complete many girl-on-girl scenes after 2001.
